The Oster Manufacturing Company has weathered many changes in our 125 year history but we have never changed our commitment to making the very best Pipe Threading Machines and Bolt Threading Machines in the world, a commitment we have upheld since 1893.
We take great pride in our 125 years of threading excellence.
After many years as part of a larger corporation the Oster Manufacturing Company became privately owned in 1997 when it was purchased from the then Allegheny / Teledyne Corporation. All fixtures, Blueprints and Patterns were moved to our current location in Owosso, Michigan. We make all original equipment parts in our over 15,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility located on over 3 acres of property.
We have taken great lengths to bring the manufacturing of Oster Pipe threading machines and Bolt threading machines into the modern industrial era. We regularly invest in new CNC equipment or in the upgrading of our current equipment to provide the highest quality of pipe and bolt threading machines that we believe are unmatched in our field.

Oster is the only product we make and we strive to maintain the very high standards that were set for us by the men who made industrial grade pipe threading machines and bolt threading machines for over 125 years. We regularly supply parts for Oster machines that have been in constant use for over 75 years.
We do not cut corners. Quality is our first priority and we do not engage in the cost cutting measures employed by those who would sacrifice durability or performance to make an extra buck. As a privately owned company we have no one to answer to but you and the person looking back at us in the mirror. We’d rather earn that extra dollar by building the most rugged and long lasting pipe & bolt threading machines on the market today.
