Oster 584 Threading Machine– Converstion to Swing-Over Tools
The Oster 584 is equipped with special Swing-Over tools for convenient Pipe Threading Operations. The Oster Quad II Swing-Over features an automatic opening system which guarantees the proper length for NPT threads. Also features through die-head oiling.

Standard Equipment Furnished
- Motor - 2 H.P. single phase (three phase optional at additional cost) 50/60 Hz (Specify) (single-phase - specify 115 or 230 volt, three phase - specify 230 or 460 volt), with variable speed drive (speeds selectable 22 through 58 RPM).
- Switch - Heavy duty, reversing. Safety foot switch also included. Operator must have foot on this switch for machine to operate.
- Carriage - Slide Type with Feed Lever
- Dies - TWO sets High Speed Steel Pipe Dies (Symbol Quad) Right-Hand, 1 set(1/2" and 3/4"), 1 set (1" thru 2").
- Reamer - Detachable, Blade type
- Cutter - Roller type, self centering. (Blade type available at extra cost - Slide-In carriage Only).
- Front Chuck - Fast, Positive. Grips in both right and left hand direction. Equipped with replaceable jaw inserts.
- Rear Centering Chuck - Rotating Type - Scroll actuates 3 guides simultaneously.
- Gage - Graduated for 1/8" thru 2". Also for running threads in 1/8" increments.
- Oil Pump - Reversible, vane type with relief valve.
- Oil - Thread cutting, FIVE gallons - Oster "OSTO".
